Students

Students choose on line classes due to health reasons, emotional difficulties, and /or the need to try a different learning environment. Some students enroll to courses that are not offered in their home high school or if they have a conflict in their schedule. All district high school students can access this on line program for credit retrieval during the school year and in the summer for a fee. (unless the course during the school year is part of their 6 period day and we are collection state funds).

Student-Teacher Contact Requirements

Teachers have weekly (or more contact through the on line course, through email or phone or in person. Teachers work in the lab to offer support to students and to proctor tests regularly.

Monthly reviews of progress are provided by teachers and communicated to students and parents. If satisfactory progress is not met, interventions are developed for individual students.
