Student-Teacher Contact Requirements

Ridgefield students will be required to maintain weekly progress and contact with teachers. Students will be receiving assignment directions from their teacher and will be submitting assignments and interacting with their teachers via Blackboard. If a student does not make weekly contact or progress, then an online teacher will contact the student and/or parents to get the student back on track. Counselors and intervention specialists might be employed to assist as needed. Teachers will also create Student Success Plans (intervention plans) for students who do not make monthly progress in their online course.
