Kelso Virtual Academy is a web-based educational program providing instructor-led online courses to middle and high school students, grades 8-12. KVA offers innovative and challenging academic experiences to part-time and to full-time students with the ability to meet face-to-face with a certificated, highly-qualified teacher at least once a week. KVA’s mission is to offer a highly flexible and personalized program for diverse family learning needs that aligns to our state’s academic standards and graduation requirements.
APEX offers KVA’s wide breath of course offerings for grades 8-12.
APEX has aligned each course with Washington State Standards.
Currently KVA is not an accredited organization.
Teachers are certificated to teach in Washington and have been determined to be Highly Qualified by the Human Resources Department at Kelso School District.
APEX offers Advanced Placement courses that have been approved by the College Board.
