Dialup Internet Connections – (not recommended)

Students and parents can successfully access Red Comet courses and other content over a dialup Internet connection, but the experience will be sub-optimal. Red Comet does not support dialup connections and strongly recommends DSL or cable Internet connections.

Headsets – (highly recommended)

To provide the best online learning experience for the student, it is recommended that noise-cancelling headsets be used. Red Comet recommends the LogicTech ClearChat Comfort USB headset. These headsets can be found at various stores or Online for under $30.

Red Comet uses Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) for its course delivery and communication. Our Moodle platform is hosted on Amazon Cloud, and can be accessed at the following link:

Parents/Guardians, School Administrators, Teachers, and Counselors can request access to our LMS to view student’s progress, and to correspond with the student or our administration or technical staff.
