Teacher/Mentor Best Practices

  1. Review the Course Support team role descriptions.
  2. Read the Registrar Best Practices to learn how you can best support your colleague.
  3. Participate in the Course Support phone orientation (check our calendar or request a session to fit your schedule).
  4. Communicate regularly with your online students.
  5. Communicate with your students' online instructors, counselors, and parents.
  6. Help students establish strategies for success.
  7. Work with your Course Support team to designate a time and place for students to connect to their online courses.
  8. Monitor your students' progress and get them extra help if needed.
